WELCOMING WOMEN TO BEAUTIFUL NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE
President's Message - May 8, 2020
NOTL Newcomers continues to be here for its members during this time of crisis. To help everyone stay safe and healthy, we are continuing to pause our events. This however, does not mean that we are not there for you. While in person activities continue to be on hold until further notice, many of our interest groups are looking into ways to reach out to members. As a Club, we are moving forward into the world of technology and have planned two Coffee and Conversation virtual meetings. Log in information for these sessions will be posted on the members only page. In the interest of security, please do not share this information with anyone other than members.
As restrictions are eased by the government the Board will continue to adjust offerings while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all of our members.
We are all in this together and we will get through it. Stay Safe and Stay at Home.
Pauline Miller, President
The NOTL Newcomers Club is for women who live in the Ontario municipality of Niagara-on-the-Lake, which includes Old Town, Glendale, Queenston, St. David's and Virgil. Our goal is to welcome women who are new to the town, and to help them meet one another and discover everything our unique town has to offer residents.
Membership is open to women who have recently moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) and also to women residents who have undergone a major change in their lives, such as retirement, and want to become more involved in local life.
During this time of crisis, as many of our usual activities cannot take place, new members may join for $10 and have access to online information. Some interest groups are continuing via programs such as Zoom.
