WELCOMING WOMEN TO BEAUTIFUL NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE
WE NEED YOU!
Volunteers Needed to Fill Positions 2024/25
For the survival of the club, the Newcomers Club needs volunteers to fill positions on next year’s Executive Board. Our current board members have been working before, during and after the pandemic to keep the club active and welcome new members to our community. It’s time for many to move on and we are filling almost every position.
Volunteering on the executive can give you a close-up view of all the interesting things going on in our town and the ability to share your expertise and your knowledge with a wonderful group of women.
All of our positions are listed on our website under Bylaws – under Officers, pages 5, 6 and 7: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Programs, Special Programs, Membership, Newsletter, Website and PR, Hospitality, Liaison New Members, Interest Groups and Secretary. The board participates in monthy meetings ...provides a verbal or written update on activities relevant to their position…reads and approves minutes…reviews the treasurer’s report and gives input on executive decisions. Job Descriptions (PFD - 9 pages)
If you would like to be considered for a position, please contact a member of our Nomination Committee:

We look forward to seeing you at our events and Coffee and Conversation mornings.

The NOTL Newcomers Club is for women who live in the Ontario municipality of Niagara-on-the-Lake, which includes Old Town, Glendale, Queenston, St. Davids and Virgil. Our goal is to welcome women who are new to the town, and to help them meet one another and discover everything our unique town has to offer residents.
Membership is open to women who have recently moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) and also to women residents who have undergone a major change in their lives, such as retirement, and want to become more involved in local life.
As a social club our goal is to help women who are new to the Niagara-on-the-Lake area, or who have had a significant life change to make new friends and participate in fun social activities. Let's all hope that we will be able to have a busy year full of fun, social engagements and join a new interest group or participate in a new activity where we meet new people.
